UNMASKING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A MASQUERADE PARTY FUNDRAISER EVENT
AT THE EXCLUSIVE SOHO HOUSE NEW YORK ON DECEMBER 5TH 2011

NEW YORK, NY (November 9, 2011) Milagros Day Worldwide presents Unmasking Domestic Violence; a private soiree for the who's who of philanthropy insiders and distinguished clientele. The event will feature great music and live performances, high-level networking, open bar and elegant appetizers, gift bags and surprise celebrity guests.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds that will make the Milagros Day Transformation Academy available to many more Survivors of Domestic Violence. Our intent is also to broaden the brand awareness of Milagros Day Worldwide and that of its affiliated sponsors among influential members of the business, entertainment and political communities of New York City. The event venue was selected to attract chic urban professionals, and the program was designed to appeal to the trendsetters of social ingenuity within our city.

The theme of this Cocktail Party is Unmasking Domestic Violence. Designer masks will be provided to guests as a symbol of the façade that both victims and perpetrators portray in abusive relationships and how Milagros Day is working to permanently remove those masks one woman at a time.

The evening will be hosted by Celebrity Journalist and Multimedia Producer, Carlos Anaya; also known as The Latino Ryan Seacrest and by the lovely International Top Speaker, Coach and Author, Karen Hoyos.

Milagros Day Worldwide is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that provides personal growth and professional development to Survivors of Domestic Violence. Our flagship program, the Transformation Academy, is a six-month immersion coaching program for women who have recently left an abusive relationship and are ready to put the victim mentality behind them forever.

Dear Freinds ,

As Chair of the New York State Assembly/Senate Puerto Rican Hispanic Task Force and on behalf of the entire Task Force, I want to personally thank you for participating in our Winter Somos Conference in Puerto Rico.  Your participation was vital to the success of our event!
